Paqad is open source, and Eliyce builds and maintains it
A software delivery framework that anyone can install, read and use without an account or a fee. Eliyce B.V., a Dutch software company, builds it, maintains it and uses it on its own work, including the development of Paqad itself.

Why it exists
Good engineering teams already have a way of delivering software: understand the request, agree what will be built, build it to the team's standards, review it, test it, keep the documentation honest, ship it through the team's tools. That process usually lives in people's habits and in scattered documents. When AI joined the work, the engineers behind Paqad found that the AI produced changes quickly but had no way of knowing, or showing, that it had followed the team's process.
Paqad grew out of that hands-on delivery experience. It writes the process down in a form the AI works inside, applies the team's own rules and checks, and keeps a record of what was done at each step, written by scripts rather than by the AI describing its own work. Engineers keep the engineering decisions: what to build, which trade-offs to accept, when a change is good enough to merge. The record exists so that a team can trust the result for a reason it can inspect.
Eliyce uses Paqad to develop Paqad, and publishes the full record of one real change so you can see what a record contains before you install anything. That record is Eliyce's own work, not a customer result.
Paqad, Paqad Spine and Eliyce's services
Three things carry related names. They are separate, and only the first is free and open source.
