In short
This website has no sign-up, no contact form, no newsletter, no comments and no analytics or advertising tags of our own. Like every website, the servers that deliver it see technical details of each request, such as your IP address and browser, and keep them for a limited time to run and protect the service.

What this policy covers
This policy covers visits to this website. It does not cover the paqad-ai software, which runs on your own machine and keeps its files in your own project; the security page describes what the software stores and which optional services it can contact. Eliyce's company website and services have their own terms.

We rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation). The hosting provider decides how long its server logs are kept; the exact period is still being confirmed.
Cookies
The site's own software does not set cookies for visitors; WordPress sets cookies only for people who log in to edit the site. Before the site went public, reviewers of the preview received one cookie that kept the preview open for fourteen days; it held no personal data and is no longer needed. The content delivery network may set a short-lived, strictly necessary cookie to tell browsers apart from automated attacks. Whether the hosting provider's measurement scripts set cookies is still being checked. This section will be updated when that check is complete, including whether consent is needed.
Things this site deliberately does not do
- No analytics, heat maps, session recording or advertising pixels added by us
- No fonts or images loaded from third-party services: the typefaces are served from this site. The only third-party scripts are the hosting provider's measurement scripts listed above
- No selling or sharing of visitor data
- No accounts, forms or comments that would collect your name or email address
If any of this changes, for example if we add privacy-friendly visitor statistics, this page will be updated before the change goes live.

Pages link to GitHub, npm and eliyce.com. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable form. Because the site collects so little, in practice this concerns request logs held by our hosting provider. Write to hello@eliyce.com. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when the site changes how it handles data, and change the date at the top.
